How do I track sales tax per vending machine?

Sales tax depends on where each machine was sitting and what it sold there, so it has to be totalled machine by machine and month by month. VENDBase totals what you collected in sales tax, by machine and by month, from your own synced sales.

Why does sales tax have to be tracked by machine?

Because each machine sits somewhere different. VENDBase measures tax on your own sales, month by month and machine by machine, against where each machine was sitting on the day it sold.

What does VENDBase total?

What you collected in sales tax, by machine and by month. Where a figure cannot be backed, it says so instead of showing a zero. It is a read of your own numbers.

The sales behind it sync automatically once your HAHA account, your Qingo account, or both are connected with your own keys.

What happens when a machine moves?

Where a machine was sitting on the day it sold is part of the figure, so a move matters. For a Qingo machine, rename it in the Qingo app when it moves. VENDBase sees the new name and asks you for the new address.

Is this tax advice?

No. VENDBase's totals are a read of your own sales, not books of record, so check them before you use them for tax. What you actually pay is for your accountant or your state to decide.

What else does it track per machine?

What each machine earns, with each make's fees on the machines that carry them, and what each machine has brought back against what it cost. The profit picture sharpens toward true per-machine profit as you use it.
